Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born on February 22, 1983 is an American comedian as well as an actress, host of a television show as well as executive producer and screenwriter. She was the winner of 2008's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.

 In 2017 Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix introduced the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was a daughter of an Jewish family. She was born in the city of New York to Jewish parents. The family relocated to Dallas when she was young. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. There she studied Spanish and was also a part of the school's improvisation team.

 Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She participated in Semester at Sea. She attended Emerson College in Boston. There she studied film and edited. She was also an actor in the comedy sketch group Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 After graduation from college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was one of the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
